Nursing the world - A Nursery Poem

Felt like writing what I call a 'nursery' poem...inspired by some people I know... ;)

The fairy floated 'into' my dream...
and started off with a beam...!
...help everyone you can...
plant, animal or man....!
but if there's nothing you can do to help....
at least, for God's sake, don't make them yelp!
help people something gain....
if you can't, at least don't give them pain!
be positive and keep the smile...
if you can't, at least cut out the negative pile!
for...if you can help, the world's a better place,
and if you can't, the world's is still a maze...
but if you add to the chaos, you leave it in more of a daze!

hey alok,

that was real-time! :) i just published the post!! :)
why 'nursery poem', eh? well, the intent of the poem may be great, but it's not what you'd call an 'intellectual' poem...it's almost like plain talking....
and looking at it from another angle, we need to introduce nursery kids to these values, don't you think? ;) heehee

and it was only after i wrote the poem did i realize that i could use the word 'nurse' to reflect its contents... :)

Well Nimmy, my take on any thought is that it is intellectual ... Its only when we think we know better than others, that others look stupid ... there is always sense in idiosyncrasies, all depends on how look look ..

i btw loved ur piece :)
