Ends Vs Means

The glory of great men should always be measured by the means they have used to acquire it. - Francois de La Rochefoucauld

Mmm.....something that does not invariably happen in today's organizations...eh?

Interesting. I found this site while randomly surfing for topics of debate...

I find myself agreeing with this.

As my two-cents worth, however, I have observed that it is often forced upon us to make decisions regardless of this tenet, and that the only way out is to attempt to find the easiest way out.

There are often...we could say, other factors involved in justifying the means. If only life were that simple.

However, it is, admittedly enough, very unfortunate that the means are very often glossed over by the ends.
