Another of my definitions of KM

Knowledge management is a versatile and diverse discipline that involves policies, procedures, practices and tools that help make optimum use of organizational knowledge for the effective and efficient execution of business goals.

Each time someone asks me to define KM, I seem to come out with a different choice of words, though fortunately, the gist of the message is still the same.. ;)
